Terms and Conditions

1. Product Acceptance & Description
All Leather goods sold by Qaswara Leather Corp. are natural products. The Customer acknowledges and accepts that natural variations in grain, color, texture, scars, and markings are inherent characteristics of animal hides and are not considered defects. While Qaswara Leather Corp. makes every effort to accurately represent our products, these natural variations mean the Leather received may differ slightly from website photographs or samples.

2. Product-Specific Terms
a. Genuine Leather: Products described as "Genuine Leather" are made from real animal hide. The Customer understands that this term denotes the material's authenticity but is not an indicator of a specific premium grade. Genuine Leather products may exhibit a processed or embossed grain and are sold as-is for their intended applications.
b. Veg Tan Leather: Products described as "Veg Tan Leather" are vegetable-tanned using natural extracts. The Customer understands that Veg Tan Leather is prized for its ability to develop a patina and change character over time. It is the Customer's responsibility to understand the care and handling specific to Veg Tan Leather.

3. Limitations of Liability
Qaswara Leather Corp. shall not be held liable for any project failures, design flaws, or financial losses resulting from the Customer's selection or use of our Leather, Genuine Leather, or Veg Tan Leather products. It is the Customer's sole responsibility to select a hide type and grade appropriate for their intended final product.

4. Returns & Refunds
Due to the custom and natural nature of our products, all sales of cut Leather are final. Returns of full, uncured hides may be considered on a case-by-case basis and are subject to a restocking fee (15%). Veg Tan Leather that has been treated with oils, dyes, or finishes by the Customer is ineligible for return.

5. Governing Law
This agreement for the purchase of Leather, including Genuine Leather and Veg Tan Leather, shall be governed by the laws of [Ontario] and the laws of Canada applicable therein.

Return and Refund Policy

 **Qaswara Leather Corp. Return & Refund Policy**


*   **All sales of cut leather** (by the side, shoulder, strip, or panel) are **final and non-refundable**. Due to the custom nature of cutting hides to a customer's specified size, these cannot be resold and are therefore ineligible for return.


*   **Full, uncut hides** may be considered for return or exchange within **14 calendar days** of the customer's receipt of the shipment.


*   **To be eligible for a return**, the full hide must be:

    *   In its original, **unused, and unmarked condition**.

    *   In the same state as when delivered (e.g., not dried out, folded differently, or altered).

    *   Accompanied by the original packing slip or proof of purchase.


*   **The following products are final sale and cannot be returned:**

    *   **Clearance or sale items.**

    *   **Special orders** or custom purchases (e.g., specific exotic hides).

    *   **Swatch sample packs.**

    *   Any **Veg Tan Leather** that has been treated, oiled, dyed, or finished.

    *   Any **Genuine Leather** that has been separated from its original roll or bolt.


*   **Return Process:**

    *   Customers must first **contact our team at info@qaswaraleather.com** to receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Returns received without an RMA number will not be accepted.

    *   The customer is responsible for all **shipping costs** associated with the return. We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we cannot be responsible for lost return packages.

    *   Once received and inspected, we will process an exchange or refund to the original payment method. **A 15% restocking fee** will be applied to all approved refunds to cover handling and the diminished value of the returned hide.


*   **Damaged or Incorrect Shipments:**

    *   You must **notify us within 3 business days** of delivery if you receive a damaged hide or an incorrect item. Please provide photos of the damage or the incorrect product in the original packaging.

    *   We will cover the shipping costs to replace the item or issue a full refund at our discretion.


*   **Please note:** Due to the natural nature of leather, **variations in color, grain, texture, and markings are inherent** and are not considered defects. Returns will not be accepted for reasons of natural character or a simple change of mind.
